How does the monthly subscription model work?
You pick a plan ($2,999 or $5,499), we kick off a discovery call within 48 hours, then a dedicated pod starts on your queue. You submit requests, designs, flows, ads, motion, development through your shared Slack or Notion, and we ship weekly. Unused hours don't carry over that's the trade-off for flat pricing instead of hourly surprises.
Can we pause or cancel the subscription anytime?
Yes pause for a month, cancel entirely, or downgrade with 14 days' notice. No annual contracts, no cancellation fees, no 'we'll refund you in 90 days' games. Founders often pause during fundraising cycles and restart after the round closes. Your Figma files, brand assets, and code stay with you either way.
What is the difference between the $2,999 Startup plan and the $5,499 Scale-ups plan?
Startup gives you 100 hours a month enough for one designer-developer pod handling a focused product or brand build. Scale-ups give you 200 hours and multiple parallel pods one on product, one on marketing, one on motion plus WCAG 2.2 AA and a full design-system rollout. Startup fits pre-Series A. Scale-ups fits Series A+ with multiple workstreams.
Who is Orbix Studio a good fit for and who isn't?
Best fit: funded B2B SaaS and AI teams (Seed to Series B), complex workflow products, and scaling brands needing weekly design and development velocity. Not a fit: pre-seed founders with no budget looking for a $500 logo, D2C e-commerce shops, white-label resellers, or one-off illustration gigs.
